    Excellent Job! SEARS came through for me and my family BIG TIME during our time of urgency. The workers were very professional, courteous and highly skilled. The servicemen came well prepared and their teamwork executed was well coordinated and focused to the task of installing my new furnace, humidifier and thermostat. Cleanup was ongoing as they worked...great job! I now feel safe using our new furnace to heat the house without fearing the threat of CO poisoning. Thanks SEARS TEAM!     They hired Island electrical to do my electrical work they left my outside box exposed so water could get in my box they said the original cover broke and they were waiting for the part to come in this was 2 months ago I called Island electric and spoke with Victoria she every time says she is going to call me back to give me info on the part she never do..be very careful with sears they are hiring outside people the electrician Ben literally called Mt phone to ask for a payment I thought he was talking about an actual payment got confused but turns out he was asking for a tip...who does that. 2 months later and I am still trying to get the proper cover on my electrical box I survived a hurricane and 2 thunderstorms and I am uneasy and so scared my house will burn down

    I was told by the Sears salesman that my kitchen cabinet refinishing project would take two days to complete, however, as soon as the contractor arrived, he said it would really take 3-4 days. On the 3rd day, he discovered that Sears had not delivered the soft-close hinges that I had been promised, but instead regular hinges had been shipped that would need to be swapped out at a later date. Then when he started to install the doors, he realized that Sears had mistakenly drilled all the doors for right side hinges so he was able to only install half the doors. Sears had to re-order the remaining doors to be drilled for left side hinges. It took two weeks for the contractor to return but when he arrived and opened the new boxes, he realized that Sears had again drilled them incorrectly. I had to wait another two weeks for the doors to be finally correctly drilled and installed. The original two day project took 6 days spread over 5 weeks to complete. And then when a Sears representative called and left me a message about making the final payment, the phone number he twice left me was not even a Sears 800- number. I thought Sears would be reliable but their service is horrible and very unorganized. Fortunately, the contractor did a very nice job and the cabinets look good. For the premium price that Sears charges, I had expected a much better experience.

    It took months before the installation of the boiler could be completed. The customer service was NOT great. It always took the intervention of the supervisor/coordinator, Kathie Romano, for anything to be done. The person that worked in my house for two days had great personalty. The hot-water part of the boiler is working good but I wouldn't comment on the heating part until winter. It's about two weeks now since installation. Lastly, my overall satisfaction is average!

    Unfortunately, working with Sears was full of hardships and difficulties. Trusting Sears to come do our HVAC unit was a BIG mistake. The unit got installed on Monday 8/8/22 & the cooling wasn't working properly. We waited 5 hours to see since the temperature was also hot outside. We had fans in every room since there was specifically, no proper functioning of the newly installed unit. I contacted Mohammad the Sears consultant & Kathy the production manager and I was told from Mohammad someone will come. However, I ended up reaching out to Bill myself and he came. The following day Tuesday 8/9/22 Bill (not the same installer but from the installing company) came and adjusted the Freon level. In the 3 ton condenser he put 5 ton freon to push cool air. The same night the unit went off and most likely the compressor tripped. I texted the production manager Kathy and she didn't handle the situation well. Instead she got smart and started a new chat with Bill and I and sent the thermostat picture and she says "How cold do you want it to get". Keep in mind she never responded to my text but starts a new chat to insult me as if I’m lying. If there wasn't an issue I wouldn't have kept complaining. On top of that we had multiple fans because it was HOT. Instead she was rude consecutively & I had to contact Mohammad again and again the situation wasn't taken seriously. Moreover, we slept in the heat all night with the fans and Bill came in the next morning Wednesday 8/10/22 and temporarily fixed the issue. There was little air flow again and he told me "if there's any issue to contact him again". Very nice man better than Sears workers. Same thing again it took 5 hours just for the temperature to go down a couple points. I am very Unpleased with Sears and the people managing this situation. I also called Sears to inform them if a new installer can come in to check the issue. I spoke to Tenelle on 8/11/22 and she told me "Edward" will get back to you the higher manager. After, waiting all day I wasn't reached out to. On Friday 8/12/22 Bill reached out to me 2x but I had work and then Kathy said "Mr Hussain are you available?". As I called ICP to find out about the unit Kathy and Bill THEN texted me. I had replied to Bill on break that after 4pm I will be available. Again no one took the issue into consideration and later Mohammad texted me "You didn't reply to installer". Again, I said "I was working". I told them I’m working and that After 4pm I am available. You may come again today for the 4th and final time. If the issue isn’t resolved- specifically proper functioning of the newly installed unit, it will need to be removed and this transaction terminated. Thank you." In conclusion, I wrote the same thing to Mohammad and he never replied either. Sears will scam you. They will promise you services, quality, and premium everything. But after the job is done and it isn't right they won't care about you. Save your money and hire real professionals. I wish I did more research before going through with the project
